About This Exercise

Full-body cardio warmup. Elevates heart rate quickly while improving coordination and warming the calves, shoulders, and wrists.

1Setup

Hold rope handles at hip height. Stand with feet together, elbows close to your sides.

2Execution

Rotate the rope with your wrists, not your arms. Jump just high enough to clear the rope — stay on the balls of your feet. Maintain a steady rhythm.

Pro Tips

  • Jump only 1-2 inches off the ground
  • Keep elbows tucked close to your sides
  • Land softly on the balls of your feet
  • Breathe rhythmically — in through nose, out through mouth

Safety Notes

  • !If you trip, just reset and continue — rhythm matters more than perfection
