This Privacy Policy applies to Forte Strength, including all strength training programs, workout tracking, and fitness services. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We value your trust and take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have regarding your data.

Information We Collect

  • Account information (name, email, password) when you register
  • Profile data including fitness goals, training preferences, and body metrics
  • Usage data such as workouts completed, exercises logged, and sets tracked
  • Device information including browser type, operating system, app version, and IP address
  • On Android and iOS, minimal pseudonymous first-launch and session measurement; if you opt in, seven coarse milestones from sign-up through trial start
  • Payment information processed securely through our payment providers

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and personalize your strength training programs and recommendations
  • Track your progress and generate insights about your training performance
  • Send important updates about your account and our services
  • Improve our platform based on usage patterns and feedback
  • Measure non-personalised app acquisition and distinguish downloads from genuine app use

Data Security

  • Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only

  • Secure cloud infrastructure with redundant backups

Data Retention

  • We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet legal obligations. Specific retention periods are listed below.
  • Account and profile information: kept while your account is active
  • Workout history, sets, and progress data: kept while your account is active so we can show your progress; deleted with your account
  • Payment and billing records: retained for 7 years to comply with UK tax and accounting law
  • Server and security logs (IP, device info, error reports): retained for up to 90 days
  • Support correspondence: retained for up to 2 years after our last contact
  • After you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days; encrypted backups are purged within 90 days; records we are legally required to keep (e.g. payment receipts) are retained for the period required by law

Third-Party Services

We work with trusted third-party services to provide our platform:

  • Clerk: Authentication and user management
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • Cloudflare R2: Media storage
  • Google Analytics for Firebase: On Android and iOS, minimal pseudonymous first-launch and session measurement starts before account creation using a Firebase app-instance identifier. Forte does not set a Firebase user ID or send names, email addresses, Clerk or RevenueCat identifiers, workout contents, weights, or health measurements. Android Advertising ID and iOS IDFA/IDFV collection, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation remain disabled. Apple SKAdNetwork may provide aggregated, privacy-preserving iOS attribution. If you opt in, Forte also sends seven coarse milestones from sign-up through trial start. RevenueCat and Google Play or the App Store remain authoritative for subscriptions and revenue; Forte does not send client-side purchase or revenue events to Firebase.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data. We do not sell personal information or share fitness or health data with advertisers.
